I probably shouldn't have, but with the snow fall in London recently it would have been rude not to turn off the ESP and see how the R8 deals with the soft stuff!
My experience says that with all traction on the car is brilliant, Quattro does the job and nothing seems to be a problem. Hit ESP into the Sport setting and it lets you have a lot of fun, can pull away always and goes sideways without complaint keeping easy to balance. Press it all the way and turn ESP off completely and it becomes much more of a free-standing wheel spinning nothingness.
So all of the shots here are in ESP Sport mode, mostly going sideways on demand and once or twice getting stuck on some ice! I'm sure there will be comments saying I'm really bad etc, but I'm playing it safe and not doing anything stupid that could damage my pride and joy!
